This page summarises how SyntecHire, a sole proprietorship based in India ("SyntecHire") handles personal data of people in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
Our role
As a controller. For information collected through this website, such as enquiries and newsletter subscriptions, SyntecHire decides how and why the data is used.
As a processor. When our engineers work on a client's systems, the client is the controller of any personal data in those systems. We act on the client's instructions under a data processing agreement.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have data erased in certain circumstances
- Restrict or object to processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
- Complain to your data protection authority

International transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA or the UK, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, and the UK Addendum where relevant, as included in our service providers' data processing terms.
Security
We limit access to personal data to people who need it, and we apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk. Details are provided to clients during contracting.
